My hubby plus I are both professors.
He’s a professor at a local college plus I am a 5th grade professor at a public school.
The two of us met when the people I was with and I were in college plus he has regularly wanted to teach at a college, but our dream was to teach younger teenagers. Essentially, the people I was with and I are both doing what the people I was with and I are loving about, so the people I was with and I go the extra mile for our students. Teaching at a college is weird from teaching in the public school system. For a single the private institutions have a lot more funding. I spend a lot of our currency on school supplies for our students because a lot of times the people I was with and I never have enough. There are so many perks plus luxuries that our hubby has although I don’t. One of which is that he has A/C in his office plus in his classrooms. It’s a luxury because currently our school doesn’t have A/C plus the people I was with and I are waiting for the funding from the school board. So, until that is approved the people I was with and I are forced to sit in hot classrooms; Many professors have complained about it but because of how the system works, there is not much more that can be done. Having A/C is pressing because the students need to be in comfortable environments while they learn. A few years ago, the classrooms weren’t as hot plus the people I was with and I managed separate from A/Cs, but now that the weather is getting brutal, it has become unbearable. I just hope that the currency is released soon so that the people I was with and I can finally have the luxury of air conditioned classrooms.
