My sibling Jim entered this raffle to win a modern heating and cooling idea last Summer when the people I was with and I were at the fair, then we were walking around together while our adolescents took turns riding the ferris wheel and the little roller coaster shaped appreciate a dragon.
We were all having run and it was a nice night outside.
We just happened upon this booth for 1 of the local Heating plus A/C companies and Jim decided that he was going to enter to win the prize that they were giving away. He said that he’s always fortunate at stuff appreciate that, so he just knew that he was going to win! I laughed because I always assume that those things are always rigged. I assume they do them just so that they can get your email address and your PC number so they can send you a bunch of junk mail and advertising materials, but anyway, Jim entered and I didn’t. I forgot about the whole incident by the time the Summer was over and the people I was with and I made the choice to go on with life! Then later on in the fall last year, I called our sibling and he said that his heating idea had just torn up. He didn’t sound genuinely aggravated about it, and I wondered why that was. He said that even though the furnace wasn’t working, he wasn’t sad about it because he knew that he was going to win the modern Heating plus A/C idea from the raffle that he entered at the fair. I just laughed because that seemed pretty far fetched to me. However, a week later, Jim called and told myself and others that sure enough, he had won the Heating plus A/C unit! I couldn’t know it.
