I appreciate that we have lots of property and are super private due to the woods. The only snag is that our lake house is a bit small for our kids now. The people I was with and I have two kids and are plugged packed in the home. The people I was with and I converted the laundry room into a study room and are out of space… My partner and I can’t share a room due to sleeping habits, Heating and Air Conditioning needs and labor schedules, however so our multiple study room, two washroom lake house is full to the brim. The people I was with and I entirely want to have another child. My partner also wants an office space since he works from home. The people I was with and I have looked into additions but they are so much money, however what is a cheaper solution is a modular study room. You can get a shipping container built however you want. You can make it a washroom, study room, study room or whatever. You just need to hook it up to water. The room can have Heating and Air Conditioning, electric and plumbing. My partner is talking about blowing out a spot in the lake house to create a doorway. Then the doorway will open up to our modular addition. In addition my partner could have a study room and an office, our last child then can take his room. It would be the perfect set up for us. Someday when we have the money, we can ship our modular space back and particularly do the addition.
