House hunting is completely exhausting.
My husband and I have looked at over 15 homes in the past 6 days.
We just can’t seem to find the right one that we want. We want a home that is somewhat modern. We certainly do not want to have to do a lot of painting or renovations to it. Some of our must haves in our new home is a farmhouse sink, a large kitchen and most importantly an up-to-date heating cooling system with radiant heating flooring. We do not want to have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars for a home that has a heating cooling system that is over 10 years old. There’s no point because a lot of heating cooling technicians recommend that heating, ventilation and cooling systems be replaced every 15 years. And if we’re in a home for just a few years and then have to drop thousands of more dollars to replace the hvac system, that would be just a lot of hassle and money we would have to dish out. That’s why finding a newly-installed hvac system is one of our top priorities. I can’t believe how many homes we visited that had hvac systems that looked like they were at least over 15 years old. While we were visiting these homes, I also wondered if any of these heating ventilation and cooling systems were ever maintenanced by a local heating and cooling technician. I highly doubt it because a lot of these homes didn’t look like they were maintenance and kept up with. Here’s to finding a home with an updated heating and cooling system, i’m really hoping our search ends soon.
