I didn’t realize how much faster my condo cools down if I close the vents in the unused rooms.
Why am I cooling down those rooms when they are empty 90% of the time? So now what I do is keep the vents closed in the rooms that are not being used so that the rest of the condo cools down faster during these hot summer time afternoons.
I wish I had purchased the zoned Heating & Air Conditioning method when I had the possibility but I was a bit too stingy with my cash. The next time I get an Heating & Air Conditioning method installed in this flat you can bet your bottom dollar that I am going to put in the zoned vents. I’m not sure how much more it costs but I bet it would pay for itself in a short stage of time because the method runs a lot less when it operates by zoned vents & ducts. I guess I will go to the Heating & Air Conditioning company this month & ask them how much more it costs for zoned heating & cooling for a house. My neighbor works there a few times a month so maybe I’ll go in on a afternoon she is laboring to ask him & to hang out a bit & chat. There is also a local corporation which sells Heating & Air Conditioning component that has zoned systems in their shop so I could go there too if I wanted to find out sooner. Either way, I am going to get a zoned method regardless of how much more it costs to make life easier for me.
