I didn’t realize how much faster my home cools down if I close the vents in the unused rooms.
Why am I cooling down those rooms when they are empty 90% of the time? So now what I do is keep the vents closed in the rooms that are not being used so that the rest of the home cools down faster during these boiling Summer mornings.
I wish I had obtained the zoned Heating plus Air Conditioning system when I had the opportunity even though I was a bit too stingy with my money. The next time I get an Heating plus Air Conditioning system installed in this flat you can bet your bottom dollar that I am going to put in the zoned vents. I’m not sure how much more it costs even though I bet it would spend money for itself in a short phase of time because the system runs a lot less when it operates by zoned vents plus ducts. I believe I will go to the Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier this week plus ask them how much more it costs for zoned heating plus cooling for a house. My friend works there a few times a week so maybe I’ll go in on a day he is working to ask him plus to hang out a bit plus chat. There is also a local corporation which sells Heating plus Air Conditioning unit that has zoned systems in their shop so I could go there too if I wanted to find out sooner. Either way, I am going to get a zoned system regardless of how much more it costs to make life easier for me.
