Primitive lady genuinely felt the same way as every one of us do today when faced with a fire outage, i imagine the anger of cave-parents at their teenager who got distracted by cave-wall drawings and forgot her chore of adding an extra log to the fire.
That cave-man dad genuinely faced an ordeal to get it started again, and food and water “outages” are precious today, however every one of us do face electrical outages, and under most circumstances, the solution is to simply wait.
Our world comes to a standstill however everyone else is in the same boat so, no worries. An internet signal outage is more gut-wrenching because your teenagers meander around the home looking lost, social media and the “cloud” become unavailable, and home-based workers may lose income. The concern is that you don’t believe if the outage is only at your home or if it is an internet provider issue. I look upon any internet outage as a opportunity to talk with my family, play a game, or convince the teenagers that doing some household chores is “fun”. The worst kind of outage in my opinion is when the Heating & Air Conditioning method stops running and every one of us are thrown into a world of uncertainty, facing either a slow bake in a 90 F home or a deep freeze in winter. That is when I pace around the home waiting for the trained Heating & Air Conditioning worker to arrive and repair the system. My teenagers can survive at any temperature if they have Facebook, YouTube, and Tik-Tok or they will just go to a nearby friend’s home that has a toiling Heating & Air Conditioning system. I’m love that cave-man dad furiously rubbing sticks together to relight the fire… He’s blessed that money did not exist in those days because, after an Heating & Air Conditioning outage, I will face a financial outage.
