Renovating the house

This home used to be perfect for us and our family.

Now the kids are moved out, the home feels too large and too empty for our husbandy and I.

Both of us had to laugh about it – it was still the dream home both of us consistently wanted, only now our dreams were different. Both of us actively discussed selling it legitimately and moving into an RV to travel for the next few years. Instead, both of us decided to sink some money into the locale, and make it our new version of the dream house! Both of us converted the kids study rooms into activity rooms, added a tile fireplace in the front of the house, and a hot tub in the backyard. Both of us considered getting an legitimately new Heating and A/C system, because our husbandy was thinking about radiant floors, however decided against that. The expense of radiant floors is pretty pricey, and it also requires a lot of construction labor done in the house. Instead both of us decided to get a nice tile fireplace, and then use the extra money in the fund for a new water boiler and hot tub. Both of us had enough money left over in the Heating and A/C fund to get solar panels as well, which will help lower our energy costs for years to come. The fireplace is amazing, and next month both of us will get the new water boiler for the yard. After that the only question is what should our dream apartment add on next? Perhaps both of us can repurpose the water boiler to also use it for a steam room or a sauna! I will have to ask the Heating and A/C tech.
