Shared HVAC duct causes roach infestation

I share the a/c plus heating vents with all of the rooms in this home complex, the supervisor sets the thermostat to about 68 degrees year-round plus we all get the same temperature plus air.

That didn’t bother myself and others until I started noticing roaches coming out of our duct work, but i told the supervisor immediately plus he checked our home plus didn’t find our home to be the source of the bugs, then he then checked the apartments near mine plus found the culprit, and one of our neighbors keeps their lake house filthy dirty plus it is infested with roaches, however because of the shared HVAC duct, the bugs just crawl from a single home to the next plus they are start to infest the entire building, then now the whole home complex has to be fumigated.

Once that is taken care of, I actually want to assume what I can do to keep bugs from getting in from other apartments back into our apartment. I doubt entirely much if a screen would work over the vent covers but it might be better than nothing, but maybe I could also use some sort of bug trap or bait near the vent occasions too. I do prefer residing in this home complex, or at least I did prefer residing here. Now I am not so sure. I might have to find a lake house that has its own Heating plus A/C system plus does not share duct work with the adjoining apartments. The thought of nasty roaches crawling around our possessions actually grosses myself and others out! I can not have that.

a/c tune up
