Space heaters are pretty dangerous. I know that some people have to use space heaters, but if you can avoid having to use a space heater, I would definitely recommend avoiding the space heater. Space heaters do not have to be very dangerous. Obviously, a space heater is more dangerous than a furnace or other traditional heating system, but that does not mean that the space heater itself is scary. Space heaters come with a lot of instructions that teach people how to use the space heater properly, and if people would follow the instructions that came with the space heaters, they would probably never have an issue with the space heater. Unfortunately, that will never happen because people never follow the instructions. The way that people use space heaters makes the space heaters so dangerous. For instance, did you know that you are not supposed to use a space heater for an extended period of time? Space heaters draw a lot of power and can cause an outlet to melt if not turned off. People also should never leave a space heater on during the night or when they are away from home. Unfortunately, people often use space heaters to constantly supplement heat, which means that people hardly ever turn their space heater off. This is a huge fire risk! Furthermore, space heaters are often put in spaces that are unsafe for the space heater because people do not pay attention to it. The space heater may not be dangerous in itself, but they are when you give them to people.
