I can remember a time when space heaters were not genuinely portable; Back when I was a child growing up space heaters were these giant clunkers that were made of either metal or steel and they were absolutely heavy! Most of us had them in our bathrooms to keep us sizzling while taking showers.
Sometimes they would be used in family rooms as well when the heating wasn’t so good from the heater, however even though they worked well, they did not labor as wonderful as this week’s portable space heaters and you had to genuinely lug them all around and nearly break your back! That is why back then they did not have the word portable in front of them. They were not portable at all but did the task. Today with portable space heaters things are much weird and not to mention the space heaters are much more powerful as well. They can heat an entire room in no time at all; While before the space heaters would take at least 20 minutes to heat a room other than the bathroom. This is the greatness of heating and air conditioning technology that has made what my friend and I have this week possible with portable space heaters. I have 3 portable space heaters in my house, one for each room. The way I use them is to save money on energy use. Because what i do is use the portable space heaters in locale of the central heating and air conditioning unit’s heater. This saves money because portable space heaters do not take up as much energy as central heating and air conditioning component units do.
