Spoiled by air conditioning

I will ecstaticly cut back on fuel expenses, or food, or even beer, before I consider cutting back on my air conditioning

When people in other countries say that Americans are entitled or spoiled, you recognize what they are easily talking about? Air conditioners, however in this country all of us have a general level of comfort that exists in few other locales in the world… The fact that our homes have running water as well as toilets is extravagant by some people’s standards, but the prevalence of climate control makes it seem like all Americans are rich. I am not rich, are you? Even if I am struggling to get by, I will never sacrifice my lake house air conditioning… Am I spoiled? Maybe, even though I have experienced life without air conditioning, as well as let me tell you that it is not a pleasant experience. I live in the deep south, as well as about several months a year the heat as well as humidity stays high enough that you recognize like you are residing in a oil furnace. The rest of the year is pretty hot, too, which means the a/c in your lake house is something you use all through the year. There may be a few weeks here or there where A/C is not required, but it doesn’t happen often, and on a warm summer time morning, the air conditioning can make your lake house 20 degrees cooler than it is outside, which can be a real life-saver. I will ecstaticly cut back on fuel expenses, or food, or even beer, before I consider cutting back on my air conditioning. I don’t recognize if this makes me spoiled or not, even though I can guarantee you I will never stop using my a/c.
