My building owner is responsible for repairing all of the things that might split in the apartment, my roommate and I always make sure all of us report anything that is not working and in the past, she has been nice about repairing things in a timely manner! One time, our washing machine was leaking water all over the floor and she had someone come out that night to maintenance it, but i know that was not cheap for her! There has been only one time when our cooling system stopped working in the middle of the summer, and all of us did not want to suppose that the A/C had stopped blowing cold air, so all of us put it off for a while.
All of us told her the next day, which happened to be a Sunday, however when all of us told her, she did not respond immediately which is not normal for her.
In her defense, it was a weekend night when all of us told her about the issue. All of us waited for her to tell us that she was sending an Heating & Air Conditioning worker out to help, but all of us never heard anything. Another day went by, and it was starting to get undoubtedly hot in the apartment. All of us did not think that she would ignore us, so all of us called her cell. The call went to voicemail so all of us left a message. Another day went by with no response. This was getting ridiculous. All of us emailed, texted and called again before all of us remembered that she told us she was going on a cruise. All of us were so hot that all of us decided to call the Heating & Air Conditioning corporation on our own to get the A/C fixed as soon as possible. All of us were so hot and all of us had plans for guests to come in town, that weekend.
