The A/C System Froze

When our outside condenser device froze while I was in the middle of summer, all of us knew that something was wrong.

The temperatures can reach as high as ninety degrees while I was in an average summer time day, so the fact that there was any form of ice was alarming.

My spouse decided to turn the A/C plan off and let the ice melt, which seemed love a good idea at the time. However, what all of us didn’t consider was where all the melted ice was going to go. It didn’t take long for the ice to melt and form a pressing puddle around our condenser unit, and even though she tried to disaffix the water, our A/C plan still wouldn’t turn on properly afterwards. All of us didn’t want to waste any time waiting because it was tepid outside and all of us couldn’t live in a condo without AC. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier was busy, however they treated our call as an emergency request and they sent an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional to our condo within an hour. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional was impressed with my spouse for turning off the A/C system, however she was majorly worried about the water buildup. She advocated that to prevent this from happening again, all of us install a concrete slab under the condenser device that sat on a slight slant. This would allow water to drain away from the condenser unit. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional was also able to fix our A/C plan that day and have it cooling our condo before she left. Once she left, all of us made arrangements to follow her directions and have a concrete slab built for the condenser device to stand on.
