The other day, my wifey wanted to guess what everybody wanted for lunch… I said some chicken would be great and so the people I was with and I made the decision to go to the store to get some fresh boneless chicken breast. These afternoons while she is cooking, she cranks the indoor A/C unit to make sure it’s particularly comfortable in the living room while cooking. That’s one of the benefits of having a ductless mini split air conditioner system. You have your lake new home set up in zones and you can customize the temperature control settings in every zone. The two of us also have a nice ventilation plan in the living room, so whenever there is any smoke affecting the air quality, the people I was with and I can genuinely turn that on and all the smoke is pulled out of the living room and pushed out of the house. I have to say, my mouth started watering when I smelled the delicious chicken lunch that was being made… She made honey mustard & bacon chicken, BBQ chicken, and shake & bake chicken. She prefers to make a variety love that because everybody in the new home prefers to have odd flavors. She consistently says that’s no problem and I occasionally have a hard time deciding which piece of chicken I want to go for. Along with some mashed potatoes, green beans, and parmesan noodles, everything comes out delicious. That lunch was so great and she told myself and others I could cook on the grill the next day. Now this week, I was hungry for lunch. The two of us had some leftover chicken so my wifey made myself and others a great chicken salad. As promised, I cooked steak on the grill along with some potatoes and mixed veggies, my wifey pointed out how nice it was not having to crank the A/C in the living room and saving currency on the energy costs.
