After I started toiling night shifts at my task, I have changed my sleep schedule entirely. Instead of getting up at 7am or 8am in the morning for a 9-o-clock shift, I now wake up at 1pm or 2pm in the morning. It’s aggravating when I get calls from the bank or my insurance company while I’m trying to sleep in the late morning hours. If I need to schedule an appointment at my doctor’s office, they’re always trying to get me to come in during the morning hours. No matter what, I have to remind them whenever I call to make a modern appointment that I’m not available in the morning plus to schedule me for the morning instead. I thought I had made this fact abundantly clear with my heating plus cooling company when I tied up my recent repair call. While talking to the representative on the PC, I told her to make the appointment no earlier than 2pm in the morning. I told her that I wouldn’t even be home at that hour. When I woke up the next morning at 8am to pounding on my front door, I was shocked plus couldn’t imagine who it could be. I looked out the window plus saw the truck for the Heating plus Air Conditioning business. Without even answering the door, I immediately called the company directly plus gently scolded them on the PC over the mixup. I told her that I explicitly asked for an morning appointment. Apparently the worker was going to be in my town at a neighbor’s home at 9am plus took it upon himself to do my repair call beforehand.
