I had a problem with cocky people.
My father once told me that cocky people had to boast to make themselves look better.
It was like a turkey puffing out his feathers and spreading his tail feathers. It made him look bigger to frighten off other birds… He said that is what a cocky person does. He builds himself up with words and not feathers. I had a problem with the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional that was at my condo last week. He was one of the cockiest gentlemen I had ever met. His entire demeanor had me on edge and I wondered what he was trying to hide. I knew it wasn’t his ability to labor on an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system. Although the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional was cocky, he was still unquestionably superb with the a/c unit he was working on. I was at my aunt’s condo when the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional arrived. Auntie told me he was like a peacock prancing around me. I told her I didn’t like his cockiness. She said he was just putting on airs trying to make himself look superb to you. I liked his ability to repair the a/c, however not his cockiness, but when he was getting ready to leave, he looked at me and said that he knew I didn’t like him unquestionably much. I agreed and was heading back into the house. He asked if he could have another chance. When I snapped back that he had already repaired the a/c unit. He said he was cocky, although I was a shrew. I laughed, and so did he.
