I took the position of the building manager when the old a single quit.
I was already helping out with strange jobs from time to time with the plumbing, Heating, AC, and other general troubles around the building.
The owner assumed I was proficiencyable enough to supply myself and others the building manager position. He really didn’t ask a lot of questions or ask for a resume. I didn’t disagree, because the position came with a free house and I was paying $1,200 every week. That freed up a lot of currency for my savings account. Of course I ran into a ton of troubles right away and a single of those troubles landed myself and others in the emergency room. I had to help a resident with a radiator heating system in their apartment. While I was working on the radiator heating system problem, I burnt a large portion of my arm. The hair on my arm was burned and all of the skin was melted. I thought I was going to pass out from the pain and I decided to go to the emergency room. The house tenant called the owner of the building and told the guy exactly what occurred with the radiator heater. He called my cell iPhone while I was resting in the waiting room being assessed by the doctor. The guy was sad about my health and well-being and even offered to pay for some of the medical bills. I was surprised by his generous nature and didn’t expect to hear that. I thought he was going to tell myself and others to pack up my apartment.
