A couple of years ago my daughter and I had occasion to go to a weekend-long wedding celebration. It was the most amazing celebration of marriage that I have ever seen in my life. I know there are some cultures that spread their wedding Adventures out over the course of a day or two or even more, but until this one celebration, I had never seen it. Anyway we traveled to a ranch. The ranch was humongous I don’t know how many thousands of acres, and included on that piece of property was the big house, the Stables and barns, and about 25 cabins. It turns out that no one who went to this wedding had to go to a hotel. There was plenty of room in all the cabins oh, and they were just amazing. Each individual cabin had mini split HVAC units inside. This was my first experience with mini split air conditioning and heating. I live in the Southeast, but the wedding was in the northwest, the climate was much different. Even though the wedding was in the summer, I still found myself wanting to use the heater quite a bit of the time. Using the mini split HVAC system was quite simple. It had one button for heating and one button for cooling. Heating and Cooling couldn’t have been any easier. I talked to the parents who owned the ranch about their HVAC choice for the cabins. It turns out that they sometimes rent cabins to two people who want a nice getaway in a beautiful mountain setting. Because of that, they wanted to have simple but efficient and effective Heating and Cooling. Some people might like Heating, but two cabins away they might prefer Cooling. Anyway this was the most amazing wedding celebration and I was happy to spend my time between the big house with its Central HVAC with Zone control, and my little cabin with my little mini split heating and cooling unit.
