Have you ever used a portable a/c? Lately, I have been seeing so many commercials for them and while some of them look care about they would be great, I am a bit skeptical. I have read reviews about portable s being nothing more than a glorified fan. I recently watched a video of an over-the-road trucker who uses a portable in his truck, and he was cheerful with the results. However, he did mention that the component performed better on the days that were cooler. I would care about to buy 1 for my shed, however there are so many different brands on the market that I am not sure which 1 to choose. They all have great and bad ratings, which makes my decision even harder. One thing that I noticed is that most of the portable s come with a remote control and a fan and humidifier features. Additionally, there were some models that also functioned as an air cleaner. One thing I liked about most of the units is that they were self-explanatory to maintain. All you would need to do is to wipe the filter twice per month. The prices range from $74 all the way to $550. Most of them were in the $300 to $400 price range. That is a bit more than what I intended to spend on a component for my shed, however with all the extra features, I must admit that they are really worth the money. I will be shopping around soon for the right component for my shed, however it’s great to know that there are so many choices out there.
