Have you ever used a portable air conditioner? Lately, I have been seeing so several commercials for them and while some of them look enjoy they would be great, I am a bit skeptical. I have study reviews about portable air conditioners being nothing more than a glorified fan. I recently watched a video of an over-the-road trucker who uses a portable air conditioner in his truck, and he was blissful with the results. However, he did mention that the equipment performed better on the nights that were cooler. I would enjoy to buy one for my shed, but there are so several weird brands on the market that I am not sure which one to choose. They all have unbelievable and terrible ratings, which makes my decision even harder. One thing that I noticed is that most of the portable air conditioners come with a remote control as well as a fan and humidifier features. Additionally, there were some models that also functioned as an media air cleaner. One thing I liked about most of the units is that they were easy to maintain. All you would need to do is to clean the filter twice per month. The prices range from $75 all the way to $550. Most of them were in the $300 to $400 price range. That is a bit more than what I intended to spend on a equipment for my shed, but with all the extra features, I must admit that they are particularly worth the money. I will be shopping around soon for the right equipment for my shed, but it’s unbelievable to believe that there are so several choices out there.
