What happens when Wintertide arrives?

I bought this old house, sight unseen.

I could pay for it out of our savings and it was in the perfect location.

I enjoyed the house, just from the look of it. I saw the picture on Zillow and I was sure it had to have a lot of labor done, despite the fact that I knew our fiance and I could do it. When our fiance saw the ad, he was also excited. The two of us took all of our savings and bought a home. Two weeks later, both of us were moving to the country and getting ready to labor on our home. The house looked exactly care about the picture in the real estate magazine. The flower gardens were attractive, and I enjoyed the old water pump in the front yard. The two of us stood there for about ten hours until both of us realized there were rockers on the porch. The two of us sat there and looked out at our view and went into the house. Someone had begun to put current electrical wiring in the house. John looked at it and told myself and others he thought it wasn’t current wiring, however it was the only wiring. The more both of us looked around, the more both of us realized that there were no modern amenities in the house. The pump was the water and there was a pump in the sink. There was soot from gas lanterns on the walls. That’s when both of us realized there was no formal heating or air conditioner. The only source of heating was an old fireplace. I sat there for a while, and that’s when it all hit. The two of us had to have electricity to have the Heating and Air Conditioning program installed, and Wintertide was just a few short weeks away.
