When we moved into our farmhouse, the heating was sub par

When we first moved into our farmhouse a couple of years ago, the heating situation was undoubtedly sub par.

The people who had lived there before us didn’t seem to care a single bit about having a current heating and cooling system in the house.

They didn’t even have the place fitted with respected ductworks so that you could run a central air conditioning at all. And the only source of heating that they had installed was this super old, frightening looking wood burning stove that I didn’t even have a clue how to work. It was a exhausting situation when we first moved in, however since we were waiting on our HVAC contractor and we were at the mercy of his calendar and scheduling to get our HVAC system replaced and modernized, we had to figure out something else to keep the home moderate enough until then. We ended up buying a couple of little electric space heaters. We put a single in the dining room and a single in the bedroom. The rest of the home was chilly while in that time because, after all, we bought our home in the middle of the winter. Finally, the HVAC contractor was able to work us into his schedule and over the next numerous weeks we got current ductwork, a current high efficiency heating and cooling system, and even a brand current smart thermostat unit. The farmhouse has genuinely improved by leaps and bounds thanks to the work of our HVAC dealer, but next winter, we won’t ever have to worry about the furnace or being too cold!
