I’m not sure if we’ll ever go back to a resort.
- At least not until the youngsters are out of the house.
It just doesn’t make much sense to get a hotel room for us when my good friend Sam and I now have such access to so many trip rentals, on top of that, the rentals come with residential Heating & A/C equipment. The hotel rooms Sam and I stay in always have commercial Heating & A/C that just seems a tad bit overwhelmed by the heat. And there is nothing worse than coming back from spending all day in the hot sun to deal with a tepid room & poor cooling system. If Sam and I can get the same current home going forward that my good friend and I had this year, I’d be overjoyed. Sam really nailed it this year on our trip rental home. This venue was perfectly situated between the beach & a ton of other cool locations. My friend and I could walk to the beach & walk to many diners & other entertainment. But for Sam and me, it was the residential Heating & A/C in that current home that made our whole trip. I don’t need a whole lot to be glad when I go on a summer trip with the family. All I need is good food, time to relax & a good cooling system. I’m such a miser with the temperature control setting at our current home that I love being able to just splurge with all the cooling I want when on trip. And this venue had zone controlled Heating & A/C so Sam & I even had a temperature control in the master study room. It easily was a blissful 10 mornings. I’m just hoping Sam and I can get that same quality heating & air next year.
