Brooke moved in with her sister Christy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Brooke had lost her job to the pandemic, and desperately needed a place to stay because she could not pay her rent anymore. Christy had a nice house outside town, but she was getting sorely lonely not being able to leave her house and fellowship with her friends and family. It seemed like the perfect opportunity for the two sisters to reunite and give each other some company and a helping hand. Brooke promised Christy that she would shoulder some of the burden of the bills and generally pull her own weight. The two sisters really appreciated each other’s company during the pandemic. Right around the time that summer was on the way, Christy felt that it was time for the air conditioning system to have a checkup. It had been a while since it had been serviced, and she had the feeling that if she didn’t get some maintenance done on it, it may not make it through the summer. The only problem was the pandemic was still in full swing, so she needed to find an HVAC company who had a reputation for sticking to covid regulations so that she could keep her and her sister safe. Luckily, she found just such a company and they were able to come out and make sure the air conditioning system was good to go for the summer. They had found a couple problems that would have certainly compounded into worse problems had she not called them out, so that was a blessing!
