I was expecting the Heating and A/C business to send a business to our beach house last week.
I had written that he was to be there between noon and 3PM.
When he still hadn’t arrived by 4PM, I called the Heating and A/C business and asked if they could tell myself and others when the Heating and A/C business would arrive? The man who answered the cellphone told myself and others he didn’t have an appointment set up for that day and asked if I had written the wrong date. I was so embarrassed when I realized the appointment was for this Thursday, and not the previous week. I was sure our hubby was going to get a large laugh out of our faux pas, so I didn’t tell him about it. I simply told him I would need to take off this Thursday for a dentist’s appointment. I should have known I could not pull a single over on him. He has always known when I wasn’t telling the truth. He says that I don’t look him in the eye and I fidget. I worked until 11AM the following Thursday, then headed beach beach house so I would be there when the Heating and A/C business arrived. When I got home, our hubby was there along with the tech. They were talking about the ductwork and how the Heating and A/C tech thought that all of our problem with the airflow was because the ductwork needed to be cleaned. My hubby said he was there first because he wanted to talk to the tech when he arrived. If he had told myself and others that, I wouldn’t have taken off work early and he could have dealt with this alone.
