A few years back, I took the kids to a lodge for a week in the summer… The lodge is right on the lake plus inside the state park.
The rental rate for the lodge was $125 every night. The lodge had heat plus AC, beds for all of the children plus me, plus it had a fully stocked kitchen space. There were pots, pans, baking dishes, forks, spoons, plates plus bowls. Everything we needed to be coy for that week was included with the lodge. The kids were ecstatic to be outside for a whole week. They played a lot while we were there! A few afternoons after we arrived, the kids were outside playing by the lodge plus I heard a single of the little ones shouting about something. I ran outside as abruptly as possible. The kids were jumping around plus they were acting crazy. In a moment, I realized that they were being attacked by a crazy swarm of bees. The hornets were coming from somewhere close to the lodge. I told the kids to run inside of that lodge as abruptly as possible. I searched around the lodge for the hornet nest, but it was impossible to locate the exact location where they were coming from. There had to be a hive close by, because there were hundreds of hornets attempting to attack the kids. After we left the lodge, I told the state park guide about the issue with the hornets. I warned the girl that we could not see where they were advancing from, however the bees had to be close to the area where the kids were stung a bunch of times.
