When I first went into Heating and A/C, I never expected that one day I may want to be a Heating and A/C company business owner.
My wife and I were talking about my opening a Heating and A/C company, after I had been working for almost ten years.
She reminded me that I had basically been running the corporation for the last five years. I knew how to run a business and I knew what went into the business. She asked me if we could afford to find a business space for rent, would I want to be a company owner. I had to think about that. I did know what went into running a business and I knew what all it entailed. I knew about the overhead I would need. I would need enough space for my inventory and a couple of offices. I would need a space for the inventory specialist. I would also need a location where we could store the repair vans and for the technicians when they weren’t working. I realized how much I would love to own a corporation someday. When I told her what I was thinking, she smiled. She told me there was a business space for rent that just came onto her desk at the realty office. I couldn’t believe what she was saying. She showed me the information she had on the corporation space. The rent was a bit high, but I knew we could make it for a couple months until money started coming in. She reminded me of the business plans we had already made. Now a business space rental was all that was left. The business space for rent and talking to the bank.
