Getting together after the funeral

Over a decade ago, my mother-in-law passed away! Her partner, who is not the father of my partner, was quite a wealthy man.

  • They lived directly on a Waterway in a dwelling that would genuinely sell for over a million dollars even back then.

Anyway, after my mother-in-law passed, there was a funeral celebration at their dwelling on the water. There were several people jammed into the house, plus all the people were visibly dripping with sweat. His partner did not notice. He is the only one though, and finally I went to my partner plus said hey what is with the a/c appliance? Can you please go turn down the thermostat? He was one of the ones who was dripping with sweat sort of like a pig, so off he went to adjust the thermostat settings. That is when he discovered that the thermostat was already set to 65°. Regardless, the actual thermostat in the dwelling was 73. Well, anyone who grows up in the Southeast like the people I was with and I all did, knows that means your air conditioning appliance is broken. It just so happens this was a weekend afternoon, as most funerals happen on Saturdays for the convenience of the attendees. My father-in-law did not even have the belief that it was boiling there. He simply was not in his right mind to be entirely honest. Anyway, the Gathering after the funeral was on the way towards a major disaster plus people were totally miserable with no A/C to help them in the slightest. That is when I made the choice to call my good friend. I have a pal who works in Heating plus Cooling plus he is constantly saying if I ever need anything to please let him know. Well that afternoon he was able to go into the backyard, the attic, plus the garage, to discover what was wrong with the a/c appliance. It turns out there was some kind of frozen A/C fan. He did repair the a/c appliance, plus he did take a few extra minutes to comfort my father-in-law. He is a fantastic pal plus a fantastic HVAC serviceman to be sure.
