My friend Jessica told me the story of how I met the man of my dreams.
My fiance was killed in a natural disaster 15 years ago, and even though I have occasionally gone on dates, I never find anyone that I am truly interested in.
Therefore, I am always interested in how my friends meet the men of their dreams. So, anyway, Jessica met the man of her Dreams by inviting him, sight unseen, into her house. No, she didn’t open her front door and just called out to some guy walking down the sidewalk. It turns out, she met her husband because he came to repair her HVAC equipment. One day, Jessica came home from work only to discover her thermostat reading 83 degrees and her air conditioning vents blowing out AC that felt like it was coming from the heater instead. In other words, our air conditioner was broken. Where I live, it is extremely hot and humid the vast majority of the time. One of the things people fear the most is their ac breaking down. Anyway, she chose to call the emergency line of her HVAC company oh, but when the recording told her the after-hours AC call was $350 minimum, she hung up. The next day the AC technician came out and prepared her central heating and cooling unit and fixed her broken heart at the same time.
