I actually cherish having central a/c.
I had never had central a/c in my dwelling before last year, & I can say that it is worth the price.
It did cost quite a bit more money than I thought it would to get central a/c installed in my home. I actually had to work a second task for a few months just to spend money for central a/c, however I would do it all over again, but before I had central a/c, I used window a/c units to cool my house! Don’t get me wrong, window a/c units are better than nothing, but they don’t compare to central a/c. Central a/c is nice because it keeps every part of the dwelling nice & evenly cool. The window a/c units simply could not do that, however even though I had three window a/c units, they could never keep the dwelling as cool as the central a/c that I have now does. They just weren’t able to keep up because there weren’t vents in every room like there are now. I cherish my central a/c, & I will entirely continue to brag about it for years to come. If anyone you know is considering getting central a/c installed in their home, encourage them to do it. It may cost a lot upfront, but it actually saves money in the long run, & central a/c is the luxury of luxuries. My parents tried to convince me to put central a/c in my dwelling years ago, & I wish that I would have listened to them because I would have had beautiful central a/c a long time ago.
