I could not understand why the Heating & Air Conditioning business always sends the newbies to weirdos? It was pretty strange the way I got sent to this outdated woman’s household who had a pool in her basement.

Fortunately for me, I have a Grandmother who is eccentric! She doesn’t have a pool in her basement, but she runs around with shorts in the winter, and wears jackets in the warm season. My aunt’s household seems like it came right out of a Night Shyamalan film. It was rundown, and she didn’t seem to care. It was rather nice inside, but she said that’s where she lived. They didn’t live outside, so she didn’t really care what people thought… When they sent me to Grandmother’s home to fix her gas furnace, I was thrilled to go, and I didn’t tell them who she was. I got to have a pop with my grandparents, and I got to show them what a good Heating & Air Conditioning contractor I was. I could not wait for Grandmother’s approval of my being a Heating & Air Conditioning contractor… After I repaired the gas furnace and showed them the bill, Grandmother paid me in currency. I told her what most people at the Heating & Air Conditioning business thought of her household, and she and Grandpa laughed. They said that was a nice thing, because now they would have their favorite granddaughter coming over more often. I kissed them both and headed back to the Heating & Air Conditioning business. No one asked what happened at the household, and I didn’t think it was their business.
