Aren’t cats supposed to sleep during the daytime? I have two kittens and when I wake up in the morning for my coffee they get up with me and stay up all day.
They don’t seem like they sleep at all, unless at night when I go to bed they are, but I thought cats were nocturnal.
It’s fine with me but they kind of don’t leave me alone when I am trying to write in my office, stepping on the keyboard making gibberish on the screen with their little black paws. I’m writing about HVAC equipment and smart thermostats today for a company online but am not having a lot of luck with the kittens doing half of the writing. I guess I’ll have to just close my office door when I work so I can get it done in a timely manner. I’m having to run my central air conditioner more now because tomorrow is the first day of summer and the heat is now here. I keep the vents closed in all of the bedrooms and bathrooms and only cool down the main living room area and my small office. The HVAC system cools down the flat in about twenty minutes by keeping half of the vents closed, which helps a lot with my power bills each month. I wish I had bought the zoned system when they were installing it but I thought it was too much money. I think it would have saved me money and hassle from having to open and close the vents each day.
