I enjoyed the heated seats and the car, but the annual fee to use them seemed a bit much

When my buddy pulled up in his new vehicle with a lovely body and chrome rims, I was impressed. We took a ride in the car and it was a chilly fall season day. I was pretty amazed when my buddy said there was built-in heating in the seats. He said there was only one issue when it came to the heated seats, and that was the fact that he had to pay extra to use them. I asked him what he meant and he explained that if he wanted to be able to use the heating in the seats, he had to either pay a monthly fee of $20 or a yearly fee of $200. He said that basically unlocked the heated seats feature and if he didn’t pay the rate, the heating in the seats would no longer work. I thought this was absolutely nuts and I thought the company who made this vehicle was really pushing hard to make extra money. Still, while he had the heating in the seats active, I wanted to be able to enjoy it. I had to admit that those heated seats were very comfortable, but the heating in the car with the HVAC vents in all the right places wasn’t too bad either. I figured if I had a car like that and they wanted to charge me extra for the luxury of heated seats, I would probably pass on that luxury feature. It honestly seems like things are getting way out of control these days with high prices for everything. One thing that really got me was the cost of chlorine, how that shot up to ridiculous amounts, more than three times the cost it used to be!
