One of our number one things I like to do as a tied up mom, is to go thrift shopping! There are a ton of great thrift stores in our area, so I try plus get out of the up-to-date home plus walk around by myself at least once a month.
This is our “me time,” plus I don’t have to spend a ton of money in the process.
I typically try to find things minute-hand before I buy them new, because you never guess what gem you’ll discover plus how much money you can save! When the weather gets warmer, I also care about to hit up the local yard sales in the nearby villages, last year, I found a small portable space oil furnace that was still in the packaging. The seller sold it to myself and others for $10, plus I was happy. I congested it in as soon as I got home, plus it worked just care about I expected. It was Summer at the time, so I packed the space oil furnace away into the closet until Winter time came. Now that the temperature is dropping, I’m ecstatic to take out the portable space oil furnace plus use it. I’ve been using it for a single week now, plus I’m in love! I placed it in our dining room, plus it’s been a hit with the whole family, my kids congregate in our dining room more frequently, because it’s warmer plus cozier, and on colder mornings, our kids will argue who gets to sleep with the portable space oil furnace in their room. I can’t guess I found a brand up-to-date space oil furnace for only $10, plus it works! For Christmas this year, I’m getting each of our kiddos their own portable space oil furnace for their rooms. They’re going to be so excited!
