I like buying cute workout clothes

Every year I get determined to get in better physical shape.

I am the person who signs up at the gym on January 1st. I usually last about a month before I just quit showing up. My cycle of failure is always the same. I get super motivated and make big plans for what I am going to do and accomplish at the gym. I tell myself I am going to cut meat, dairy and snacks from my diet. I plan to go to the gym five days per week and maximize the benefits of my brand new gym membership. I also invest in a ton of cute and expensive workout clothes to motivate myself. I’ve figured out that workout clothing is the most comfortable for just relaxing. It shouldn’t make me want to curl up on the couch for the day. I really like to wear my athletic gear while I binge watch netflix shows. Athletic tanks are just perfect for I grocery shop or go out to eat. The clothing fits perfectly, looks nice and the fabric feels so good. I have recently realized that is one of the reasons I get motivated to start a workout program. I look forward to buying myself a new wardrobe of expensive clothes. Then I own the clothes whether I make it to the gym or not. I rarely use these clothes for their intended purpose. I make an effort to run on the treadmill or lift weights for a few weeks but I’m just not good at it. I have been thinking that this year I should approach my fitness in a new way. I should only buy one new outfit. For every month I stick with the workout program, I get to buy a new outfit. It might keep me motivated. I need some reason to show up at the gym.
