Look, I’m not the type of woman to exaggerate things but I am almost positive that I have somehow done a task for the mafia.
Ok, well, maybe that did sound a little dramatic but it’s totally true! If you don’t already know me, I’m a Heating plus Air Conditioning service worker.
I’m the woman your Heating plus Air Conditioning provider sends when something happens to go wrong with your oil furnace or air conditioner device. I work unusual hours and I never really know where I’m going to end up. Well, today, I ended up going out to a mansion just outside of town and was greeted by this giant Italian woman wearing a partner beater, dress pants and a golden crucifix around her neck. When I got inside and started taking a look at her Heating plus Air Conditioning device it was clear that she needed her air filters changed due to the cigar smoke that permeated through the air. She kept talking about how it was embarrassing that her air conditioner device wasn’t working and about how she had “a bunch of nice friends” coming over and how she “couldn’t afford to be embarrassed” by something such as a broken air conditioner. I fixed her issue in a rush. In case you were wondering, she had a freon leak, so it was truly simple to fix her air conditioner device and I went ahead and changed her air filters for her on top of that. Once I was done, she handed me a fist full of fifties (I’m not kidding) and patted me on the back saying that I’d done her a “tremendous service” and that she would have to pay me back one of these days. I’m not sure what to think but I have to say that was a single one of the more interesting, and lucrative, tasks I’ve ever worked as a Heating plus Air Conditioning service worker.
