Now that our little family is growing again, we all are looking for another place to live.
My wife is pregnant with twins and we really would like to have a newer, more energy efficient home before the babies get here, all of us already have numerous kids in the little home where we’re at now, and the way it is in the house where we live now is just terrible.
This home has poor indoor air conditions, first of all. We just don’t want to be here with all of these kids that we’re going to have. We need to have more room to spread out, but I would like to find a place with a new, highly efficient, HVAC system. The old oil furnace that’s in the basement at this house is old and a little bit creepy to be honest with you. It looks like a big burning monster or something down there in the oil furnace room. It scares me and my kids to death when I have to go down there to work on the oil furnace. I would rather have something like a ductless mini-split unit or a high efficiency heat pump. Of course, our dream is to have a home with radiant heated flooring even though I don’t believe that we will be able to afford that on our budget. One of the other reasons we all want a more energy efficient home is because we want to save as much money as possible on our heating and cooling bills. It costs a lot of money to raise kids. A nicer heating and cooling system would really help with that.
