I came back to my flat here in Europe a little over a week ago and I am finally getting adjusted to this world once again.
I hadn’t traveled for almost three years from this small beach town but finally got the nerve up to do so to visit my hometown and see my friends and family.
I had a fun time there working for my local contractor friend doing HVAC repairs and whatnot. I earned enough money to cover living in this large flat alone for the next six months, after that I may get a flatmate to absorb some of the expenses. I could also work for my friend’s HVAC company here in this town if I wanted to so that I wouldn’t have to get a flatmate. But if I find the right person it can actually be nicer than living alone, so we shall see what the universe has in store for me. I could ask this guy that works at the local business down the street as we have been friends since I moved here a few years ago. He works all day at the store so I would only see him at night for a bit as I sleep pretty late in the morning. I could also get a deal on HVAC products and equipment because they sell those things at the place where he works. Another option would be to work like I did before when I visited the states and build up another buffer of savings. It’s nice having experience in the HVAC industry because people always need my help.
