Now that our family is growing again, we all are looking for another house to live in, and my wife is pregnant with twins and we would love to have a newer, more energy efficient home before the babies get here. My wife and I already have several youngsters in the little home where we’re at now. The way it is in the house where all of us live now is just terrible. This home has terrible indoor air quality, first of all. My wife and I just don’t want to be here in this small house with all of these children that we’re going to have! We all need to have more room to spread out, I would like to find a home with a new, high efficient heating and cooling system. The old gas furnace that’s in the basement in this home is ancient and a little bit frightening to be around. It looks like a large burning monster or something down there in the gas furnace room. It scares me and my family to death when I have to go down there to work on the gas furnace. I would rather have something like a ductless mini-split a/c unit or a high efficiency heat pump, of course, my dream is to have a home with radiant heated flooring even though I don’t think my wife and I will be able to afford that on our budget. One of the other reasons all of us want a more energy efficient home is because all of us want to save as much money as possible on our heating and cooling bills. It costs a lot of money to raise kids! A good heating and cooling system would certainly help with that.
