I sent my brother out to the store to buy us dinner and a few other things before we headed out for our vacation.
We wanted to have an early supper so that we could sleep early in order to get up as early as possible to get ready to leave.
My brother absolutely loves the outdoors and exploring the country, and though I am not quite as enthusiastic about the outdoors part of being in the outdoors, I at least appreciate the beauty of nature enough that I agreed that we should have a little vacation. We would use our camper van to go out and explore the country for a few weeks. Anyway, we needed to get a few items from the store before we headed out the next day. I sent my brother out to go get them. I insisted that he take the car for the sake of its air conditioning, because it was very hot out that afternoon. When my brother came back, it was very obvious that he had decided not to take the car even though I gave him the keys. He explained that he had decided to jog to the store because he had missed his opportunity to exercise that morning. He was soaked with sweat and very appreciative of the air conditioner as he sat down on the couch. It can get very hot and humid in the summer where we live, so I always try to make sure that our HVAC system is being serviced as often as possible to maintain its health. This allows me to keep the thermostat at a breezy 72° most of the time.
