I recently sent my brother out to the store to pick up a few things for us before we started our little vacation.
We wanted to have an early supper so that we could sleep early and strike out as early as possible the next morning. We were planning on taking our camper van out to tour some beautiful parts of the country for a couple weeks. My brother has always been the adventurous sort who loves to camp and fish and generally enjoys the outdoors very much. While I am not as enthusiastic about the outdoors, I do at least appreciate nature. Anyway, I sent him out for some groceries and I gave him the keys and suggested that he take the car even though the store was nearby. It was very hot and humid outside after all. Things tend to get very hot in the summer around here. Well, it turns out he decided not to take the vehicle after all. He came back all hot and sweaty. He said that he opted instead to jog to the store because he had not gotten a chance to run that morning. He was super sweaty by the time he walked back through the front door and he plopped down on the couch under the air conditioning. We always maintain our air conditioner very well and I like to keep it at a breezy 72° nearly all of the time. My brother was definitely getting relief. I’ve learned the hard way to maintain your air conditioning system if you want it to perform well for you.
