Not sure if I will get heated flooring

I have been thinking about heated flooring just about everyday.

My partner & I are redoing the flooring in our whole house.

All of us already have the stone board laid down & purchased the tile. Next the stone is installed & grout is put in. Then we have finished, brand new floors! On the stone board & before the tile, electric heated mats can be installed for radiant heating; Radiant heating sounds just amazing. No heated air rises & gets wasted on the ceiling. There are no warm & cold spots in the house. Tile floors are the best for radiant heat since it absorbs into stationary objects love the couch & chairs touching the tile. They almost guess love heated seats, but since it is electric heating, you don’t experience dirty air quality or dry air conditioner. The system is silent & undoubtedly efficient. I can purchase the heated flooring right from a hardware store too. There are more than one things stopping me right now. One is that the cost of doing this heating installation is the same as my new flooring, then buying all the stone board & stone was around numerous grand. Getting heated flooring for my whole house will be the same amount of currency… Do I want to double my project costs for a heating system when I already own a forced air system? The other thing that has me distraught is if there is something wrong with the heater. It is buried under the floors & can’t be accessed to make a repair. So when the oil furnace dies, I will just have worthless mats under the floor.
