I have been looking into buying my first house for a couple of years now. I know that seems like a long time, but I want to make sure that I find the perfect house. I am not in a rush because I don’t want to settle on anything. I really do like the apartment I am renting but I think it would be a good investment and I do have a substantial amount of money saved up for a house now. My relator only shows me houses that she knows I will love because I won’t just buy a house to say I have one, if you know what I mean. So when I got a call from my realtor last week, I got excited to go see the place. It is an older house but the architecture is beautiful. It would need only a few cosmetic repairs, like interior painting and changing out some of the floors. One of the selling points that really got me was the brand new HVAC system. Apparently before the previous owners decided to sell the house they completely replaced the HVAC system and all the ductwork. They had a brand new furnace and a smart thermostat installed as well. I could not believe that a house this old had such a nice HVAC system. I was ready to give my realtor a down payment right that minute, and she knew that meant I was very interested. Hopefully the owners will accept my initial offer. The new heating and cooling system is something I can’t pass up!
