Our friends are getting a divorce all because they can’t agree on the heating and cooling settings in their home. I mean, that sounds crazy to me, but that’s what they told us. I guess they are citing all of this as an irreconcilable difference or something. I think this is terrible. I always feel bad when people end up getting divorced and they are unable to work things out, but I guess that kind of thing just happens sometimes. Anyway, they told us the other day that the main reason that they don’t want to stay together anymore is because they just can’t agree on the temperature settings on their thermostat! I personally think that this is a completely crazy reason to get divorced, but I guess you just never know what goes on behind closed doors. I am really hot natured, and so I never want to turn the heating system up very high in our house. My husband has a really cold nature, and so it’s the opposite with him. Whenever the weather starts cooling down outside, I just bring him blankets and heating heating pads when he’s cold. I never would have thought about getting divorced because of it! I guess most people just aren’t like us though. I hope that both of them will be happy in their new lives without each other, but I can’t help but think that all of this could have been avoided. A simple call to our local heating and cooling company to have zone control heating and cooling installed would have probably fixed everything.
