I have been needing to get a new thermostat for a while now, I just haven’t taken the time out of my day to do so.
You see, our thermostat claims that it is only 72 degrees in my house, and either I have completely lost all feeling relating to temperatures, or the thermostat is wrong and it is actually boiling inside my home.
I had a HVAC technician even come out and check on the thermostat and the HVAC system. My furnace was working okay, and my A/C had a very small minor repair, but even after the air conditioning unit was fixed, the thermostat still read the same thing, 72 degrees. I have decided that I want to get something much better than what I currently have. I have heard a lot of good things about the smart thermostat, and I am thinking that getting a smart thermostat would be a huge improvement in my home. I looked online and there are plenty of HVAC businesses close to me that sell smart thermostats. As for the price, it really ranges, I saw some cheap ones for $50 and other nice and expensive ones for $200, so I am not really sure what to get. I want to get what is best for my heating and cooling unit, but I don’t want to spend a fortune either. I think I will do some more research on what smart thermostat is the best and most recommended, as well as which one has the best price. Once I come to my conclusion, I can buy the smart thermostat and have it installed by a HVAC tech the very next morning.
