My kids were watching TV 4 hours the other day plus 1 of them yelled for me to come look at what was currently on the news.
I expected some kind of awful news, however instead they were talking about farms.
Apparently, there were some local fruit farmers that were giving free room plus board for full family weekends, for families plus individuals who wanted to come plus help them to collect peaches. Every one of us would even be able to take some peaches back to the apartment with us, at the end of the weekend. I thought at first that the two of us would be put up in a bed plus breakfast type of situation at the farm. I imagined walking into an outdated farmhome that morning plus having a fireplace roaring to take the chill away from the night air. I didn’t realize that out in the country, the un-even temperatures outside were now leaving a coat of frost on the ground. When ever the two of us got to the farm, the two of us were quickly shown to an outdated bunkhouse. There were simple bunk beds in the room plus nothing however curtains to separate the beds. to be honest, it was like going camping, however there was modern heating in the room. It was a great feeling to have the flowing heat coming from the air vents. I was surprised to sleep so comfortably and well in spite of having 4other roommates. While we were out selecting peaches, I could only hope that it went back to being cool at night. I love to the heating system, and without air conditioning system, I would never be able to sleep.
