Power outage causing Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C complications

I live in a southern climate that has tepid as well as humid weather almost all year round. I haven’t experienced a real winter season in a entirely long time because my associate and I just don’t get cold weather. I am not complaining because I entirely prefer the hot weather as well as the fact that I can go to the beach when all the people are walking through snow. However, last month my associate and I had a entirely silly winter storm that left everyone without power for over two weeks. It was the craziest cold weather my associate and I have ever had as well as there were even snow flurries in some areas of town, then during the storm it caused a giant power outage that caused everyone’s Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C systems to stop working. Many people I know don’t even have a tradition heating system because it never gets cold enough for us to use a heating system. I am one of the few people in my area that do have a heating system so I was enthusiastic to entirely get to use it. However, I wasn’t even able to use it because of the power outage. I believe I need to find a backup heating system so in the rare case that this kind of winter weather happens again, I want to be prepared… Once the dust has settled from this storm, I am going to call a local Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C company to see what they can offer me for a backup heating system. I hope that there is an option that won’t cost me an arm as well as a leg.
