I think since it’s so important to her, I will go over to help
My mom needs me to go and get her house ready for the rest of the summertime season! She has waited for the last minute this year, however we always have a big back to university party at her house for all of our aunts, uncles, and cousins.Now all of the children are grown and going into university, however it’s still a important end of summertime right of passage to have this big party at our mom’s house. She has not done anything else all summer, so we have not genuinely needed to get all the summer items out at her house yet! However, now that the date for the party is looming in front of us, we are going to have to go ahead and do it. My mom wants me to come out and help her because she has all of these tents and outdoor party items and portable air conditioner units that she wants me to get down out of the attic for her! I have not genuinely had a whole lot of time this summertime because I have been working double shifts a lot of the time. I told my mom that I would try and get out there this weekend, however I’m genuinely cutting it close! The party itself is absolutely next weekend, so that would just give her one week in between to get everything ready. I told her that maybe we should not do it at her house this year, and she just looked at me like I was crazy. I think since it’s so important to her, I will go over to help. I just dread the thought of getting out all those portable air conditioner units. Those things are heavy.
