The programmable & Smart temperature controls are dominating right now… I am seeing them everywhere, & pretty much all our friends have switched to 1 of the many temperature controls.
I am yet to make the investment, not because I don’t know the temperature controls would be beneficial, it’s just that I don’t think if I need 1; My digital temperature control works fine, & frankly, I have never had an issue with it; So, I don’t see the need to substitute it even though all our friends seem to guess I should, according to them, ever since they installed the programmable & Smart temperature controls, they have seen a decrease in their energy bill.
Some have even declared that the temperature controls have made their homes much more comfortable. I have done the research on programmable & Smart temperature controls, & I did find information about the savings that it can create. According to the Energy Star website, you can save up to $50 or more per year on your energy bill… Though that might not sound love a lot of savings, guess about it this way, in about 3 or 4 years the temperature control would be paying for itself… Besides the savings, other sites mentioned how the temperature controls drastically regulate the temperature inside the cabin separate from sacrificing any comfort. I know that both temperature controls deliver when it comes to savings & comfort, & I have no real arguments against getting a programmable or a Smart temperature control. Eventually, I am sure that I will substitute soon, however for now, I am quite content with our digital temperature control.
